EXHIBITS
The Central PA NRHS has a rich collection of exhibits showcasing the history of railways in the region. Below are photos and information about the locomotives and railcars we have here at the station.


VOYAGER - Rebuilt in November 1931 from Trombley (one of 20 cars built July / August 1911 for the NYC). Ten sections and four duplex rooms. PRR leased it to Pullman in December 1948. It was then withdrawn from lease in August 1957 and converted to a work car.

TORRANCE - One of fifty cars built between June / September 1926 for the PRR. Converted to work car 492763.

URBANA - One of 225 cars built by Pullman for PRR between February / May 1925. 12 sections, 1 drawing room. Leased to Pullman Company December 1948 by PRR. Withdrawn from lease June 1962 and converted to work car 27420 by PC.

B60B Baggage Car PRR 9020, later labeled as PC 60704.

RDG N-4 Caboose 92896 was built in 1941, later labeled as CR 18741. Currently restored to original RDG paint as of 2013.

PC Caboose 19380 originally PRR 47787 later labeled as CR 19360, Currently restored to PC paint as of 2020.

RDG Caboose 92837 originally CNJ 91513 was built between 1938 & 1941 for the CNJ at RDG shops. This caboose was recently saved by an anonymous donor and delivered to the station in 2019.

SHPX 4855 a 40ft tank car, was built at ACF in Milton, PA December 1926. This car is in original condition as it was when it was donated by ACF.

PRR 80188 a rounded-roof boxcar was built by ACF in Berwick, PA.

PRR boxcar 495005 was the first car received at White Deer Station in February 8th, 1983. The car was purchased from Conrail at Norry Yard by Ed Brouse and is now currently restored to much better condition.

NYC hopper car 921070 later labeled as PC 429707 is till in the original condition as it was donated in by Al Bubb.

General Electric 45 Tonner #5 is still in running condtion and is used to move railcars around or for caboose rides on the property as of 2025.
